A message from the organizers of the annual fall food drive in Trenton and area.
The Care & Share Food Bank is very pleased to report that the citizens of Quinte West once again proved to be a caring and generous community. Although we did not quite hit our target we did receive a substantial amount of non perishable foods along with many generous cash donations. A considerable amount of additional food donations will likely be made over the Christmas season coming from a variety of local organizations and that should put us where we hope to be for the winter months. No one will go to bed hungry in our community thanks to all of the gracious donators and volunteers who went door to door to collect the food. Thank you all so much.
