A Belleville man has been charged with multiple child pornography related offenses following a lengthy investigation by Belleville Police.
Officers starting looking into sexual assault allegations, involving young girls, in May of this year and wrapped up their investigation by executing a search warrant this past Tuesday.
Uniformed officers, along with members of the Criminal Investigations Branch and Tech Crimes Unit were involved in the search, but exact details of any seized items weren’t released.
However 44 year-old Michael Tregunna, of Belleville, is charged with one count of possessing child porn, one count of making child porn for the purpose of publication and one count of resisting a peace officer.
He’ll have a bail hearing in Belleville on October 3rd.
