This Saturday is a big day for the Trenton Care and Share Food Bank, as the organization undertakes its 2016 door-to-door food drive.
Volunteers will be going door-to-door, between 8:00 a.m. and noon, trying to collect 15 tons of food, to fill the food bank’s warehouse and help people get through the long and cold winter ahead.
If you’d like to donate and you live in Trenton, you’re asked to leave a bag of dry goods like peanut butter, canned tuna, beans, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti sauce, pasta and other similar items on your front step and volunteers will come pick them up.
Anyone outside of Trenton who wants to make a donation can visit quintenews.com to find out how.
