We are starting to learn more about the contract to bring the Ottawa Senators AHL farm team to Belleville.
Tuesday morning on the Lorne Brooker Show, Mayor Taso Christopher, Director of Recreation Mark Fluhrer, and Senators spokesperson Geoff Ross talked about the eight year contract.
Fluhrer says it is a deal with an option, but the rest will not be made public for now.
He adds that there are enormous spinoffs and benefits to the entire Quinte area.
Fluhrer says to go along with the millions of dollars on the payroll, its a win win for everyone.
