A Colborne man has been sentenced to 2 and half years in jail after robbing a convenience store in Colborne in early August.
A masked man entered the Mr. Convenience store and brandished what appeared to be the butt of a handgun. He escaped with some cash.
A couple of days later, 38 year old Jason Ivany turned himself in to Cobourg Police.
He was also sentenced to a lifetime weapons prohibition and must make $400 restitution.
