The Wellington Dukes survived the Hurricanes last night and left Newmarket with a 3-2 victory and a perfect 5-0 OJHL record.
Campbellford native Colin Doyle scored the winning goal early in the second and Connor Ryckman made it stand up with 23 saves. Hunter Gunski and MacKenzie Warren also scored. Jackson Arcan had two assists. Connor Rykman turned aside 23 shots.
The Dukes return home to host Burlington tonight at 7:30.
The Trenton Golden Hawks take a 4-0 record into tonight’s home game against the Pickering Panthers.
In Junior “C”, Sean Robertson broke a 3-3 tie mid way in the third period to lift the Napanee Raiders over ther Picton Pirates 4-3.
