It’s our livelihood and we depend on it said 4th generation farmer Sharon Kleinsteuber smiling and looking around at the many vendors who proudly call the Belleville Farmers’ Market home.
Kleinsteuber is one of many excited to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Farmers’ Market this weekend.
The co-owner of Kleinsteuber Farms in West Lake reflected on the many changes that she’s seen take place over the years.
Fellow 4th generation farmer, Cliff Foster of Fosterholm Farms in East Lake agreed much has changed over his 85 years but it remains a social mainstay where the community comes together.
Looking forward to the weekend, Market Manager Jackie Tapp beamed it will be a busy two days.
