In just 20 minutes, council was able to receive good news on three fronts.
They have approved their first ever Santa Claus Parade.
It will be an all ATV affair taking place on their new trail.
It is tentatively set for December 2nd.
There was also word of some big dollars raised, following a United Way Sale this weekend in Marysville.
$27,000 was raised, as 375 people poured through the event.
Finally, a $20,000 donation was received from Trans Canada Pipeline.
The money will be used to purchase fire equipment.
