Belleville Police was at the scene of a frightening disturbance yesterday afternoon.
Officers attended a residence in Foxboro, where they were confronted by a 43 year man with a knife.
The short lived, but tense situation ended with the man being apprehended by police and taken to Belleville General Hospital.
There were no injuries in the incident.
