A business in Quinte West hopes to hold a mixed martial arts event on a Trenton street next month.
The Wild Card Brewing Company is asking city council for support of the event and the closure of
a part of Gotha Street on October 8th.
Wild Card Brewing proposes demonstrations by local mixed martial arts fighters, along with those from Battle Arts Academy. Strongmen from around the world would also take part.
Vendors and a licensed area are also proposed for the event which would run all day into the evening.
Quinte West council will discuss the request at its meeting this evening at 6:30 at city hall.
