Ontario’s chambers of commerce, including the Belleville Chamber, are waiting for more details on the Liberal government’s changes to the hydro charges.
Executive Director of the Belleville Chamber, Bill Saunders says two issues are of concern for major industrial users – the expansion of the conservation initiatives and the global adjustment factor.
Saunders say the Chamber of Commerce is encouraged that the government recognizes publicly that electricity costs are a major concern for the business community.
