There won’t be much change when it comes to employment levels in the Quinte region.
So says a Manpower Employment Outlook survey for the upcoming quarter, running from October through December.
In this area, 7% of employers expect to hire more employees while another 7% expect to lay-off.
The remaining 86% of local employers will maintain their work forces at current levels.
The slow hiring climate locally mirrors a national trend, mainly due to low oil prices.
