Team Mills (green shirts) edges Team Haggarty (pink shirts)
The Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club has its own version of the Ryder Cup except this is known as the “Haggarty Cup”.
It’s a Ryder Cup format which pits the top 36 golfers at the course in a match play tournament. The first team to 18 1/2 points wins and it was a very close finish.
Team Mills, named for Belleville and Ontario Golf Sports Hall of Famer Dave Mills, defeated Team Haggarty, named for Max Haggarty 19-17.
