A 62 year old man was hit by a vehicle and killed while walking along a road in Tweed yesterday afternoon.
OPP say the accident happened shortly before 3 o’clock on Old Hungerford Road near Birch Lane.
Police say a car had to move off the road to avoid a truck coming the other way on a curve.
The car hit the man walking on the side of the road.
The man killed was from Tweed. The driver of the car, a 21 year old woman from Madoc, suffered minor injuries.
OPP continue an investigation.
