Some students are starting the first day of school, at another location.
On Tuesday, those who call Our Lady of Fatima home, are starting today at George Vanier.
Issues with ventilation and contaminants in the soil forced the Algonquin Catholic board to move the students, until repairs are made.
Meantime, former Quinte Elizabeth students remain at Breadner Elementary, as the new Trent River Public construction continues.
It is anticipated to open to students in January, and will welcome young ones from College Street Public and Breadner.
Officials with the Hastings Prince Edward Board say the project is on time and budget.
