Belleville Police Service responded to 52 calls for service from the 3rd of September 2016 at 5:00 a.m. to the 4th of September 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
WANTED SUBJECT – BELLEVILLE
Belleville Police were informed of an armed robbery in the downtown area of the city occurring between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday September 2nd 2016. A man was robbed at gunpoint of cash by a suspect brandishing a hand gun. The suspect then fled the area. Police have issued an arrest warrant for 37-year old Michael Christopher Huntley of Belleville on charges of: robbery using a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and failing to comply with probation. He is considered armed and dangerous. Police advise that Huntley should not be approached and urge citizens to call 911 if observed.
