Schools in Quinte West and Northumberland County have benefited from extensive repair work over the summer.
This includes new windows, roofs, heating and cooling systems.
Northumberland-Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi says the province increased its funding to nearly $700 million over the next two years, for such work on schools in the province.
Local schools receiving the work include: East Northumberland Secondary School in Brighton, Percy Centennial School in Warkworth, and Frankford Public School, Quinte West.
