A 29 year-old Trenton man, responsible for a lengthy stand-off in Quinte West earlier this summer, will be sentenced this fall.
The man’s name can’t be released, but he was arrested in the early morning hours of June 13th, about five hours after he barricaded himself in a Belvedere Road home and threatened to destroy it.
Emergency crews had set up a command centre at neighbouring Trenton High School and residents were told to stay inside and lock their doors, but the situation was resolved without any further incidents.
Nobody was injured and the man will find out his sentence on October 19th.
