The highest profile concert in Canada since SARS-stock, takes place Saturday
The Tragically Hip will preform for about 6,000 in Kingston, and for millions on television.
CBC is airing the show live and Belleville’s Empire Theatre is showcasing the broadcast beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Andy Forgie from The Empire Theatre says The Hip played their venue in 2006.
Forgie adds that you must present your confirmation number and your ID and the group of people you are with.
The Canadian Cancer Society will be accepting monetary donations, which will go towards the Gord Downie Brain Research Fund.
