The head of the Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services has just returned after spending three years with the federal government.
Chief of Paramedic Services Dough Socha was in Ottawa to help the federal government come up with science and research for paramedics across Canada.
Socha says he was pleased to work with Defence Research Development Canada and the Centre for Security Science.
Socha says he brings back to Hastings-Quinte an understanding of paramedic work across the country, as well as how the federal government works.
