Arrest on Warrants
Belleville, Ontario – On August 14th, 2016, at 12:20 p.m. a 23-year old Belleville man was arrested on warrants on George Street. He was held for a bail hearing on August 15th, 2016.
On August 14th, 2016, at 9:10 p.m. a 48-year old Belleville man was arrested on warrants on Cannifton Road. One of the warrants included a committal warrant which requires the male to serve 45 days in jail for a traffic-related offence. He will appear in court on August 25th on the other charges.
On August 14th, 2016, at 9:15 p.m. officers attended at Pearson Airport in Toronto in relation to a male arrested on outstanding warrants from 2009 and 2010. The 59-year old male had arrived on an international flight. He was escorted back to Belleville and held for a bail hearing on August 15th, 2016.
Bail Violation
Belleville, Ontario – On August 14th, 2016, at 3:47 p.m. an officer recognized a 30-year old Kitchener man on Dundas St. East who had a bail condition which prevented him from being in Belleville. He was held for a bail hearing on August 15th, 2016 on a charge of breach of a recognizance.
Disturbance
Belleville, Ontario – On August 15th, at 1:05 a.m. officers attended on Palmer Road in relation to a male kicking at a door of an apartment building. The 19-year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
