We set another high temperature record in the Quinte region yesterday.
According to measurements taken at CFB Trenton, Environment Canada reports a
high of 32.8 degrees yesterday.
That was just a little higher than the previous warmest August 12th in the area, which occurred way back in 1935 when the mercury climbed to 32.2 degrees celsius.
We aren’t likely to come anywhere near the high temperature record for today though.
The record for an August 13th is 33.4 degrees set in 1988.
The forecast high today is around 28 degrees.
