A solid investment is going into a new youth centre in the County.
Yesterday, the County’s Community Economic Development Commission announced the $5,000 fund would go into the Recreation Outreach Centre’s Youth Centre, opening in the fall in Picton.
Initiatives for the centre include mentorship programs and educational workshops that put an emphasis on entrepreneurship and social enterprise.
The Youth Centre will also be providing various after-school activities for children.
