A 40-year-old Trenton man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with a violent incident Wednesday night.
At 8:40 p.m., Quinte West OPP responded to a disturbance call at 50 Marmora Street in Trenton.
Upon arrival, they found a 69-year-old man suffering from serious life-threatening injuries.
After an investigation, police would arrest Gregory James Sloan of Trenton with the charge of Attempt to Commit Murder.
Quinte West OPP is continuing the investigation and further charges are still pending.
