Stirling Police have laid a number of sexual assault charges against a local man, following a number of alleged incidents.
Police have charged the man with four counts of sexual assault over a period of four months.
Police Chief Dario Cecchin tells Quinte News the man’s name will not be released to protect the victim’s identity.
The accused man has a court date in September.

Northumberland OPP report a long list of charges laid over the Civic Holiday weekend during a Slow Down, Move Over campaign.
The campaign focused on many aspects of traffic, marine, and off-road safety including the ‘Move Over’ legislation.
Some highlights of the results for the Northumberland detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police included 86 speeding charges, nine ‘Move Over’ violation charges, nine marine offences resulting in charges, five suspended drivers charged, and one stunt driving charge.
