A popular Northumberland County music festival has received a boost from the provincial government.
Northumberland Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi handed over a cheque today (Friday) for $14, 250 to the Shelter Valley Folk Festival.
The money was granted from the Ontario Arts Council, the province’s main funding body for the arts.
The Shelter Valley Folk Festival runs September 2 through 4.
