The heat and humidity have hit the Quinte region in a big way this summer.
But how has that affected our local hospitals?
Perry Simard is the head of the Emergency Department at Belleville General.
He says dehydration has not seen a huge increase, but breathing problems are up.
He says the heat, combined with the humidity is a major problem.
Simard says you have to monitor yourself, stay cool and drink lots of water.
He says when you do have something planned, try and schedule it for early in the day, or late in the evening.
