The City of Quinte West is hosting their 9th Annual Photo Contest.
Community members are encouraged to submit pictures they have taken throughout the year that capture the unique attractions, festivals, events and the overall quality of life in Quinte West.
“We are fortunate to have such tremendous photo opportunities throughout all four seasons” noted Donna McCormick, the contest’s coordinator. “With so many things to see and do in the City, photographers have plenty of options to choose from.”
The contest is open to everyone, residents and visitors (with the exception of City staff and their immediate families).
All submissions must be photographed within the boundaries of Quinte West and submitted in high resolution jpeg format.
All submissions will be featured on the City’s website.
“We appreciate the public participation in showcasing our great city” explains Mayor Jim Harrison. “The photo contest enhances the promotion of Quinte West, allowing us to feature the beauty as seen from the public’s eye.”
Cash prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as three honourable mentions.
Contest entry forms, details and guidelines are available online at www.quintewest.ca
