A heat warning has been issued in the Quinte area again.
Environment Canada says residents living in Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County, Northumberland County and Napanee can expect hot and humid weather Thursday afternoon and into the weekend.
The warning advises residents to watch for things like: dizziness or fainting, nausea or vomiting; headache; rapid breathing and heartbeat; extreme thirst and decreased urination with unusually dark yellow urine.
If you experience any of these symptoms during a heat event, immediately move to a cool place and drink liquids. Water is best.
