Stirling-Rawdon council has sold another piece of municipal property.
Council passed a bylaw authorizing the sale of the public works building on East Front
Street to A.T. Petroleum Service Ltd for $410,000.
In a related move, council has set a budget for renovations to the former Ministry of Transportation building to allow it to become the headquarters for the public works department.
Council has decided to not spend any more than $190,000 on the renovations.
Two local companies, Wieger DeJong and Buck’s Construction are bidding on the job.
