The Trenton Golden Hawks will raise their Dudley Hewitt Cup Championship banner to the rafters on September 9th, when they host the Newmarket Hurricanes.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League released its 2016/17 regular season schedule, which opens that night and includes six games.
The Wellington Dukes will also start the season at home that night, against the Aurora Tigers.
Each team in the OJHL plays 25 home games, 25 road games and four showcase games.
Trenton will host the first annual Winter Showcase in late January, then the Dudley Hewitt Cup in early May.
The Cobourg Cougars will host the RBC Cup National Championship tournament in mid-May.
