Another summer heat wave has led to a number of municipalities opening cooling stations.
The municipality of Brighton says the King Edward Park Arena and public library will both be open during regular business hours.
The same goes for Quinte West, where the public library is open during normal business hours, as is city hall and the fire station on Front Street in Trenton.
In Belleville, the Quinte Sport and Wellness Centre is always options.
And in Prince Edward County, municipal staff say specific cooling areas have typically been under-used, so at this time they aren’t listing any.
However there are plenty of public buildings, beaches and splashpads around the region that you can use to beat the heat.
