The board of health that serves Northumberland County has approved a contract with its employees who are members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
Tuesday, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge Board of Health ratified an amended collective agreement.
The four-year contract gives the 84 workers a salary increase of 1.5% both this year and next year, and a 1% hike in 2018 and 2019.
It includes public health inspectors, health promoters and administrative assistants.
