A suspicious person didn’t get too far away from Belleville Police yesterday.
Officers were called to a park in the West Hill area and when they arrived, a male fled the scene on foot. The male was eventually located and taken into custody.
A 20 year old Belleville man is charged with obstructing police, two counts of sexual assault, sexual interference and three counts of breach of probation.
The male will be held in custody for a bail hearing on July 4th.
The Criminal Investigations Branch will be continuing this investigation.
