The Prince Edward Memorial Hospital Foundation has a new face at the helm of its board of directors.
County resident Monica Alyea was elected the chair of the board at the annual general meeting at the hospital Thursday.
The former South Marysburgh councillor takes the reins from Leo Finnegan who lead the board for the past three years.
This year’s fundraising goal is $200,000.
