A well known local politician will be honored Monday evening at a meeting of Tyendinaga Township council.
Reeve Rick Phillips will name council’s meeting room the “Margaret Walsh Council Chambers”.
Margaret Walsh was on Tyendinaga Township council for 20 years, and served as Reeve for thirteen.
The proclamation calls Margaret Walsh a “lifelong servant to her community.”
