Belleville Police say no charges will be laid at this time, in connection with a car versus bike crash, which killed the 33 year-old rider in late May.
On May 29th, Donald Stephens of Belleville was riding his bike on Bell Boulevard near the Quinte Mall, when he was hit by a black SUV.
He was taken to Kingston General Hospital, where he died of his injuries a few days later.
Investigators say, after speaking with numerous witnesses and viewing security footage from nearby businesses, they won’t be charging the 32 year-old woman who was driving the SUV.
But they do say the investigation hasn’t been closed yet.
