A man charged in the standoff in Quinte West Sunday night has an an upcoming bail hearing this week.
The man, whose name is not being released to protect the victim, was arrested without incident by the OPP Tactical Response Unit around 1:00 a.m. Monday.
On Sunday just before 8:00 p.m., reports came into Quinte West OPP about a man wearing military combat clothing, who had barricaded himself inside a Belvedere Road home, near the Trenton Walmart.
The incident began as a domestic squabble, and turned into the suspect threatening to blow up the home.
The man, who was seen wearing military clothing, eventually ended that standoff Monday morning.
He next appears in court for bail on Thursday.
