Construction crews have broken ground on a new fire hall in northern Belleville.
Monday morning, councillors, fire officials and engineers held a sod-turning for a fire hall in Plainfield.
Deputy Fire Chief Ray Ellis.
Councillor Jackie Denyes says this has been in the works since 2003.
The new hall will be built on Hoskin Road, near Highway 37, and will open in the fall.
