The city of Belleville is getting fed up with the long delay in establishing a patient list for new doctors coming to town….seven are expected this year. Last night, Mayor Neil Ellis told city council the Local Health Integration Network promised a list in November “but didn’t say what year.” Councillor Jack Miller, who raised the issue, said the city has put out money for doctors and “people shouldn’t get lost in bureaucracy.” City council decided it would no longer wait for the LHIN list, but will establish one of its own.
