There’s a Belleville connection to a series of sixteen search warrants executed by Durham Regional Police and other law enforcement agencies.
The warrants were executed at buildings in Toronto, Durham, Mississauga and one address on Sidney Street in Belleville.
Durham Police say fourteen people were arrested in connection with the drug-related searches, but their names and charges are still being compiled and will be released at another time.
Reports from Durham Radio say the investigation had been ongoing since November and that a clandestine drug lab was found at one of the Toronto addresses.
