Brighton has been added to a list of the best places to live in Canada, while Belleville has slipped behind some other nearby towns.
After coming in at 159th on the Moneysense Magazine poll, the City of Belleville slipped to number 166 in the rankings, which looks at factors like wealth, income, housing affordability, weather and commute.
Meanwhile, Brighton made its debut on the list, finding itself at number 124, earning marks for its weather and low unemployment.
Some other nearby towns fared even better, with Cobourg jumping from from number 58 to 22 and despite a drop, Kingston was still ranked number 46, falling from 37.
Quinte West and Prince Edward County didn’t make the list, but the magazine says it’s always looking to add to the rankings, which this year looked at 219 cities.
Ottawa, Burlington and Oakville rounded out the top three, but you can see the full poll and more in-depth breakdowns by clicking here.
