The plan to concentrate on multi-housing units for social services is moving ahead for Hastings County and the Quinte area.
The Hastings-Quinte joint social services project is to sell off the 47 single housing units owned by social services, and concentrate on multi-unit buildings.
Three of the single houses have been sold.
Executive Director Steve Gatward says it was “rewarding” when one of the tenants managed to buy their home.

Gatward says there are five new multi-unit builds in Quinte West and Belleville and more to come in Belleville.
