It was another scorcher in the Quinte region yesterday, but it wasn’t hot enough to set a new maximum temperature record.
The mercury climbed to 27.8 degrees celsius yesterday, according to readings taken at CFB Trenton. The record for a May 29th is 30.9 degrees, set 30 years ago in 1986.
Environment Canada is calling for a high of 28 degrees today.
