Hastings County council has approved an action plan to deal with the situation at a non-profit social housing complex in Bancroft, hit by a board of directors walkout and a fire.
The action plan outlines the steps county officials will take, including an in-depth operational review of the North Hastings Non-profit Housing Corporation.
The county will continue to assist the tenants who were displaced by the fire that damaged five units of the complex.
CAO Jim Pine says no decision has yet been made about a new board.
Pine says the review will include bylaws, health and safety , maintenance reporting and financial management.
