Mayor of Quinte West, John Williams, says he’s sure there’ll be no hospital closures in the upcoming recommendations regarding the Quinte Healthcare Corporations deficit.
Mayor Williams told Council last night that he expects public hearings to be held within the next few weeks, after a third party review of options.
The Mayor says he’ll try to make sure local MPP’s Lou Rinaldi and Leona Dombrowsky will be at the meetings, as their government holds the purse strings.
