(COSSA Senior Girls Rugby Champion Bayside Red Devils)
The Bayside Red Devils have added two more Central Ontario High School championships to their impressive season.
Bayside defeated Thomas A. Stewart Secondary from Peterborough 2-0 to win the COSSA Senior girls soccer final. Katherine Herron scored both goals while Taja Farrell Sonnenburg had the “clean sheet”.
Bayside advances to the Ontario championships in North Bay.
Not to be outdone, the Junior Red Devils beat St. Theresa 3-1 to add that COSSA title as well. Cailyn Gracie scored twice for Bayside. Rheanna Flynn scored the other. Emma Elson responded for the Titans.
