Fire officials continue to investigate the cause of the recent fire that damaged five units at the 57-unit non-profit social housing complex in Bancroft.
Fire chief Pat Hoover says the Fire Marshall’s investigating is still ongoing.

Chief Hoover says all the occupants of the units have been relocated to alternative housing.
Meanwhile Hastings County staff is working with the province to determine the future of the complex after the fire and a recent walk-out by the board of directors.
The housing complex is a not-for-profit venture run by an independent board but financed by Hastings County.
