It looks like the conversation has started between the Hastings Prince Edward School Board and the parents of Thomas Martin.
Martin passed away on February 29th and his parents had continued to visit his former school, Queen Elizabeth in Belleville, to visit with students and carry on their son’s legacy.
They were upset when they were told to stop coming for their regular visits and to not mention Thomas or show his pictures at the recent Pedal for Hope event.
School board spokesperson Kerry Donnell tells Quinte News, both sides have started looking for a way to resolve the situation.
No word on exactly when those meetings will take place, or what resolution is being worked towards.
