Quinte West firefighters quickly knocked down a garage fire in the city’s west end this morning.
Crews were called to the scene, on Thorncliffe Road around 10:00 and found a detached garage fully involved.
Thanks to their quick work, firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading and protect another home nearby.
There were no reports of any injuries and a cause and estimate of damage costs have yet to be released.
